Holidaymakers at Alder Country Park receive 5-star service
Alder Country Park hits the ground running as lockdown restrictions are lowered on the 12th April 2021.
Alder Country Park hits the ground running as lockdown restrictions are lowered on the 12th April 2021. Entering Stage 2 of the roadmap out of lockdown, we started welcoming guests back into our holiday parks across the country. The 5-Star Holiday Park in Norfolk offers guest a fantastic array of holiday lodges to spend their first taste of freedom since the last time restrictions were lowered last summer.

The introduction of a new site management team led by the New General Manager, Mark Brightman. Alder Country Park has already improved the quality of services our guests are experiencing on-site from previous years. This supports the Countrywide Holidays objective of providing excellent and industry-leading quality holiday packages. In addition, we want to ensure that all of our guests on any of the holiday parks managed by Countrywide Holidays or Countrywide Park Homes experience 5-star service. From the moment they book their holidays to the moment we say farewell.
In these unprecedented times, we can all appreciate that it has been difficult for everyone, especially when considering and planning for a well-deserved holiday abroad, which has been an impossible task of late.
More and more people are recently opting to stay within the UK for their holidays, or aptly known as “staycationing”. To avoid the risks of COVID-19 and the associated health and financial costs risks that come with holidaying abroad. As the UK Government has started introducing mandatory self-isolation restrictions for those travelling back from ‘red-listed’ or ‘high-risk’ countries. Forcing people to self-isolate in hotels at their own expense. At Countrywide Holidays, we believe that you deserve a fantastic holiday after the year we have had. We have made our holiday packages more inviting without leaving the UK.
Improvements at Alder Country Park
We have been busy at our Holiday Parks across the country, implementing the changes necessary to make all of our guests feel welcomed and cared for. Alder Country Park and the staff there are excited to re-open the outdoor pool and the Olive Tree Restaurant. Offering a more comprehensive range of amenities to make your stay in the park more enjoyable.
Furthermore, The Olive Tree Restaurant offers our guests and the locals a fantastic fine dining experience with a twist. Only sourcing and using fresh, locally grown produce and fish caught in the nearby Norfolk coast. After nearly a year of being vacant due to the pandemic. More importantly, the restaurant welcomes new owners, Andrew and Louise to manage the establishment’s operations, providing only the best quality food and services to our guests.
Moreover, we wanted to share a review left by one of our guests, who recently had such a great time on their time at Alder Country Park; they left a 5-star review on Google… Don’t just take our word for it.
“Went for a 4-night break 12th – 16th April 2021. Absolutely gorgeous lodge, spacious & very comfortable. Site very well kept & staff lovely. Would highly recommend.”
