Just 25 minutes from the park you’ll find Colchester, Britain’s first city, steeped in history there’s so much to discover. Take a trip to one of the many museums and galleries and learn about the past, explore the Roman ruins or visit Colchester Castle. Or if you’re after some retail therapy the city centre has a range of shops from high street brands to quirky independent retailers. When you’re finished exploring you can head to one of the many bars and restaurants for a relaxing drink and delicious meal.
